Pulled into my driveway after work and realized our Pentair variable speed pump is throwing constant error messages with Saturday's pool party just days away. It keeps throwing error codes and the speeds seem all wonky - like it's not responding to the programmed settings at all. I've tried adjusting the speed programs but nothing seems to stick.

I'm hoping a good reset might fix this mess before I have to call a tech out. I know there's got to be a way to do a complete system reset on these things, but I want to make sure I do it right. What's the proper procedure to fully reset one of these pumps and get it back to working normally?…more

Somewhere between last week's torrential downpour and watching my kids cannon-ball into the pool nonstop, I started panicking about whether our new heater is actually waterproof.
