Tried sneaking into Disney's Grand Floridian pool with my Art of Animation resort key but got stopped at the gates. I'm staying at one resort but heard some of the other Disney hotels have amazing pools. Can I just wander over to check them out, or are they pretty strict about keeping people at their own resort pools?

Also curious if there are any loopholes - like if I have dinner reservations at another resort, does that give me pool privileges? Just trying to maximize our pool time without getting kicked out by security!…more

Opened up my basement to plan a pool table setup and discovered I have no room measurements, zero knowledge about standard table sizes, AND absolutely no clue what space I actually need. I keep seeing different sizes mentioned online but I'm getting confused about what's actually standard.

What are the typical pool table dimensions I should be looking at? I want to make sure I get something that fits my space but also gives me a good playing experience. Are there specific sizes that are better for beginners vs more experienced players?…more

Opened my garage door this morning and spotted my pool chemicals stacked right against my car bumper — pretty sure they weren't positioned there yesterday. New pool owner here and I'm trying to figure out where to store all these chemicals I just bought. My garage seems like the obvious choice since I have some shelving space, but I'm worried about temperature swings and whether it's actually safe. We get pretty hot summers here and the garage can get up to maybe 90-100°F on really hot days. Is this going to cause problems with chlorine tablets, shock, pH adjusters, and algaecide? Also wondering about keeping them away from other garage stuff like gas cans and lawn mower. Any advice would be really appreciated - still learning all this pool stuff!…more
